Girls Wanna Run – THANK YOU to all participants in this year’s Girls Wanna Run 5k Walk/Run. Your support made us the number one all ladies event in the state with over 800 crossing the finish line this year. Over $15,000 was raised to support wellness scholarships in our community for those who need help finding their way to good health. Join us in 2011 for an all new and exciting Girls Wanna Run event. Boys Against Breast Cancer & Ozarks Women’s Links Golf Tournament: 9/27/2010 Sign up now for the premier golfing event for men and women in the fight against Breast Cancer. Boys Against Breast Cancer – Tee off time is 8 AM. Monday, September 27, 2010 at Millwood Golf and Racquet Club. This tournament is a 4 man scramble, includes breakfast, a special gift, great prizes and lunch.
At 1 PM on September 27th the ladies tee up for Ozarks Women’s Links. The ladies only tourney includes lunch, a goody bag, great prizes and a happy hour post tournament in the Millwood Clubhouse. Teams are $600 or $150 a person. Teams are limited so sign up today. See the attached brochure for registration and sponsorship opportunities. All proceeds benefit the Breast Care Fund which provides financial support to women and men with breast issues and breast cancer care.

Breast Cancer Silent Auction: 11/11/2010 All items up for auction will benefit breast cancer patients served at CoxHealth with financial grants for their care. To donate an item call 269-7150. Watch for a complete list of auction items coming soon.

Dining with Doctors: 1/15/2011 at 6:00 pm – Held at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Diamond Room. Benefiting the Ozarks Endowment for the Neurosciences and the Stroke Fund at the Cox Health Foundation. Tables are $500 for 8. Please call 417-269-7150 for more information.
Dining for Diabetes: 1/22/2011 at 5:30 pm – Benefiting the Diabetes Education Fund for patients in Barry and Lawrence counties, served through Cox Monett Hospital. Tickets are $20 each for dinner. Event includes an auction, live music and games. Held annually at the Pierce City Armory. Please call 417-269-7150 for more information.
