Employee (Covid-19) Heroes Fund

CoxHealth employees are on the front lines of the Covid-19 crisis. We are in this together. As an organization we recognize there is fear and concern over this relative unknown, but the CoxHealth team is acting in a unified effort to ensure the safety of our employees, patients and community as a whole. This has been recognized by the CoxHealth Board of Directors as heroic. As each day unfolds, new situations and stories of sacrifice from our team are being told. We are pleased to announce a new resource for our employees to thank them for their dedication and selfless acts during this crisis.  The CoxHealth Employee Heroes Fund has been established with two gifts; $1 million approved by CoxHealth Board Chairman Chuck Chalender, and a $100,000 personal gift from our president and CEO, Steve Edwards, his wife Jennifer and family. These dollars will be used to assist employees who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or have a family member diagnosed with COVID-19. Affected employees may apply for help for areas of financial concern related to this crisis.  The application for assistance is located below or on the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals website www.coxhealthcmn.com.  Both the CoxHealth Foundation and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals will do the intake to keep the process of review and approval moving quickly for our employees.

As a reminder, the HOPE Initiative allows any supervisor to request a gift card for groceries for an employee in need at the administration offices on every campus and in administration offices at CoxHealth affiliates. Gift cards are good for Price Cutter or Pyramid Food locations including King Cash Saver, Country Mart and Summer Fresh grocery stores.
