CoxHealth employees are on the front lines of the Covid-19 crisis. We are in this together. As an organization we recognize there is fear and concern over this relative unknown, but the CoxHealth team is acting in a unified effort to ensure the safety of our employees, patients and community as a whole.
We are pleased to announce a new resource for our employees to thank them for their dedication and selfless acts during this crisis. The CoxHealth Employee Heroes Fund has been established with two gifts; $1 million approved by CoxHealth Board Chairman Chuck Chalender, and a $100,000 personal gift from our president and CEO, Steve Edwards, his wife Jennifer and family. These dollars will be used to assist employees who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 from a work related exposure. As a reminder, the HOPE Initiative, funding through the sales at the Employee Store, provides a gift card to assist families with hunger insecurity. Contact your supervisor to request a gift card if you are in need. HOPE cards are on all campuses and affiliates in administration offices.
