SUMMARY:Met in Monett LIVE Art Auction
DESCRIPTION:The “Met in Monett” to benefit the Cox Monett Diabetes Prevention Fund saw artist Roberto Regalado of Laughingwell Studios doing a live art painting. That one of a kind piece is now complete and ready to be auctioned to the highest bidder. The painting portrays a Frisco train that once had Monett on its daily route. The artist used a photograph from the state historical archives to replicate the train as it was in that era. \nAbout the artist: Roberto Regalado began his career painting in southern California under the tutelage of renowned muralist Marv Brehm. Regalado’s skills were quickly recognized and his mural art became in demand across southern California in restaurants\, business and in private homes. His skills took him to Las Vegas where he provided large scale mural projects for some of the most famous casinos. After moving to Missouri\, Regalado and his wife Linda Spencer became the artists of choice of Johnny Morris\, Bass Pro and Cabela owner.  Their work can be viewed in more than 50 locations. The pair is also responsible for the Children’s Village\, the first hospital based community art project raising over $1 million dollars for the Children’s Miracle Network. \nTo bid on this beautiful piece\, please email CHF@coxhealth.com  or click here to place your bid through Handbid.  If submitting a bid by email\, please include your name\, phone number\, and bid amount. The auction will be open through March 31st. \nMinimum bid is $350
