On May 8th Cox Barton County Hospital hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to introduce its new, state-of-the-art 3D mammography technology. Held in partnership with the Barton County Chamber of Commerce’s Business Spotlight Breakfast, the event brought together hospital staff, community leaders, and donors for a morning of celebration and networking.

3D mammography is an advanced breast imaging tool that gives clearer, more detailed pictures. It’s a major step forward in catching breast cancer earlier, especially for women in this rural area, who haven’t had access to 3D Mammography before this equipment arrived.
