Come enjoy an interactive evening at Hy-Vee where you will learn how to make smarter, heart-healthy choices for summer eating, including an “eat this, not that” BBQ edition. The event features a live cooking demonstration led by Maddy Clemons, Hy-Vee’s registered dietitian, who will walk you through how to prepare healthier versions of classic summer dishes and explain why certain ingredients support heart health. You will have the chance to cook in small groups, ask questions, and enjoy the meal together family style. Guests will also hear from Dr. Chobufo, a cardiologist, who will share insights on heart health.

This is a free event, but registration is required as space is limited to maintain a hands-on experience.
