Dining for Diabetes, the “Met In Monett”

The rst ever “Met in Monett” saw art, fashion and gourmet food all together in one event. Artists Roberto Regalado and Linda Spencer brought a Frisco train to life on stage, while guests added their own brush strokes to a canvas of downtown Monett.

The proceeds benet the Diabetes Education Program at Cox Monett Hospital. This incredibly successful program reports 47.4 % of patients lowering their A1, 30% achieving a 5-10 % reduction in body weight through lifestyle change and greater than 90% who are actively increasing their physical activity for a healthier life.
