The CoxHealth Foundation receives thank you notes from many of the patients who receive financial grants for their medical care. In this time of Thanks and Giving, we share one received this week from Beth H.:

Dear Cox Foundation and all who are a part of it:

The past two years my husband has been unable to work and I have three teenagers. I have been working day and night trying to make ends meet. During this time I had a cyst burst and caused an unknown growth. After going to the doctor many times I finally had surgery. Waiting the days for the biopsy to return were very long. Thank God it all came back and was a positive outcome. My surgery was around $13,000 and my insurance only covered just over half the cost. I read about the Cox Foundation and thought “I wonder if this could help?”

I just wanted to say what a blessing it was to hear back and find out they were able to help with some of the cost of my new debt! I just wanted to say thank you to all the people who make these blessings possible. My husband is now back and able to work and I am so blessed!
