The Recharge Carts launched last month have given a huge boost to staff. “These are trying times. When you are understaffed and our teams are working long hours, it’s easy to get overwhelmed. Then the Recharge Cart arrives and everyone is boosted by the fun it brings. We are so grateful for another tool to let staff know they are appreciated and for the goodies in the cart that truly reduce stress and build our teams back up!” says Alicia Allen, VP of Nursing for the Springfield Hospital Group. Allen says the cart sponsored by Audio Acoustics is so popular that the hope is to have one more funded for the South hospital, one for the Cox North behavioral health hospital departments and for Cox Barton County. Thanks to donors Judge and Phyllis Garrett, Cox Monett has a cart as well as Cox Medical Center Branson. The carts are filled with items designed to reduce stress including lavender sachets, hot tea packets, stress balls, adult coloring  books, hand lotion and so much more.
