You normally find Dr. Jose’ Dominguez in the operating room, but this week he was out pounding the pavement as a participant in this year’s RUNDIE. The any “K” fundraiser supports the Colorectal Cancer Prevention Fund at the CoxHealth Foundation. This fund provides FREE colonoscopies for patients who need, but cannot afford their prevention screening. Colonoscopies can find and remove pre-cancerous polys, in effect stopping cancer before it has a chance to start and spread. Dr. Dominguez along with nearly 200 others have joined the fight this year by signing up for the RUNDIE and doing this race at their leisure. Run, walk or just donate!
