Throughout the course of my career at CoxHealth, I have personally and professionally benefited from our healthcare organization’s investment in programs that support its employees.  My experiences at CoxHealth have significantly influenced my life and, it is because of these experiences, that I choose to support the Employee Giving Program and Cox Family Assistance Fund, also known as the employee crisis fund.  I can think of no better way to give back to CoxHealth, for all I have received, than to support those employees who continue to fulfill their mission to our patients, co-workers, and community even during times of personal crisis.  For me personally, it is an easy decision to support our co-workers through the Foundation and in a small way, extend my thanks to CoxHealth for all it has given to me.

 

When I started at CoxHealth, nearly 15 years ago, something I did before even completing my new employee orientation was sign up to give to CoxHealth Foundation. I was starting in a very entry level role, and didn’t have much to give, but heard that even my gift could make a difference. I know, oftentimes healthcare expenses can create financial hardships for families when times are already hard. With the heaviness of a health diagnosis weighing on the shoulders of our friends, family and community members, it’s been a blessing to be even a small part of the process that allows our team to make the call to say, “We’re here for you and are coming alongside your journey with some financial support”. It’s great to see the local impact we have in many areas, but this is one I’m so very proud of.

It’s an honor to support CMN and CoxHealth Foundation.

I value all that CMN and CoxHealth Foundation does to be the best for those who need us. I know that every dollar donated will stay local to help families, coworkers, and the community. To me, it is the right thing to do to give back to an organization that cares for others.

My daughter was born premature and I know how important the work of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals is to a family in that situation. I give so that all babies born early have a chance!
