On September 12, CoxHealth Foundation hosted 28 community leaders at our first Charting A Course for Community Health event. It was a day of learning, collaborating and planning.
Attendees participated in facilitated conversation on exploring how the combined strength of all attending organizations can be leveraged to secure federal and other grant funding.
Thank you to Nancy Rios, Regional Administrator from HRSA for providing valuable information on resources and grant opportunities. Chris Collins, USDA Field Staff Branch Chief Midwest, Isacc Gariss from USDA and Logan McGhee, USDA Rural Development Area 2 Director presented additional grant opportunties to attendees.
A big thank you goes out to Scott Rogers, Administrative Director Strategy and Innovation at CoxHealth for facilitating our afternoon strategy session.
