Give the Greatest Gift
The Gift of Good Health on Giving Tuesday, November 30
Mary

Mask held together with tape
Mary lives on $704 a month. She needs her CPAP machine and mask replaced. She has Medicaid, but the cost for replacements is over $100. This is more than she can afford, so she’s holding her mask together with masking tape. Mary’s case worker reached out to the CoxHealth Foundation and by the end of the day, she had what she needed. It’s patients like Mary who are a daily part of our mission. Our focus is to assist local patients to have a higher quality of life through
improved health and wellness. Sometimes that comes in the form of a new CPAP mask.
Sharon

Sharon
Other days it might be providing a medication to a heart patient, paying a bill for a cancer patient like Sharon or buying a stander for a gentleman with ALS.
Vernon

Vernon Cooper 2021 ALS Stander donation
Vernon has lost all use of his limbs. The stander helps him with blood flow and reduces sores from sitting. His request cost nearly $3,500. An amount that someone who cannot work due to a terminal disease is also unable to afford.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the Foundation is able to fulfill over a thousand requests each year from our Patient Service Program. Individuals with all forms of disease, illness or injury are impacted for the better because of your investment. Equally important, every dollar remains local and every penny changes a life.
This Giving Tuesday (November 30th) as you open your heart to helping others, we hope you will consider a donation to the CoxHealth Foundation. When Mary breathes and Vernon stands, you have given them compassion and dignity. When Sharon rings the bell, it’s because her chemo is over and her cancer is gone. You make all of this possible. Thank you for considering the gift of Good Health.
